Compliance reports

What's in each report, when to run them, and how to share them.

Reports turn the day-to-day work happening across Accountable into evidence you can share — with auditors, with security-conscious customers, with leadership at the board meeting.

Report types

Accountable generates two types of compliance reports:

Internal reports

For your team and leadership. Captures your current compliance score with a full breakdown across all seven dimensions, along with the underlying data: policies, training completion, vendor inventory, incident history, risk assessment status, and more.

External reports

For auditors, customers, and partners. Contains the same compliance evidence but formatted for external consumption. You can share these via a link or download as PDF.

What's included

Both report types capture a point-in-time snapshot of:

  • Compliance score — Your overall percentage and breakdown by dimension.
  • Policies — Published policies with version dates.
  • Training — Completion roster by employee and module.
  • Vendors & BAAs — Vendor inventory with BAA status.
  • Incidents — Incident log and resolutions.
  • Risk assessment — Your most recent assessment responses.
  • Data inventory — Where PHI is stored.

Generating a report

  1. Open Reports

From the Management section in the left sidebar, click Reports.

  2. Generate a new report

Choose internal or external, and Accountable captures your current state.

  3. Share

Download as PDF or share via a signed link.

Have Copilot generate it

Ask Compliance Copilot to "generate a compliance report" and it will create one for you.

Sharing externally

Shared links can be sent directly to auditors or customers. Auditors usually want a download; customers often prefer a hosted link they can come back to.
