Your Privacy Center gives patients and customers a self-service portal to submit data requests — access, download, or deletion — without going through your front desk or support team.
Setting it up
Open Privacy Center under Customer Trust in the left sidebar. You can:
- Custom domain — Host the Privacy Center on your own domain (e.g., privacy.yourcompany.com) with automatic SSL certificate provisioning.
- Branding — Add your logo, set background and button colors, and write a custom description.
- Default subdomain — Or use the built-in subdomain (privacy.accountablehq.com).

Data requests
When someone submits a request through your Privacy Center, it appears under Data Requests in the Customer Trust section. Each request is tracked with status updates so you can manage your response timeline — important for compliance with HIPAA's patient rights requirements and any applicable state privacy laws.
